Os registros, que ainda s\u00e3o num\u00e9ricos, passar\u00e3o a ser alfanum\u00e9ricos \u2013com letras e n\u00fameros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A mudan\u00e7a tem como objetivo ampliar a capacidade de registro de novas empresas, acompanhando o crescimento do mercado, a expans\u00e3o do empreendedorismo e a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Num\u00e9rico, como \u00e9 hoje<\/strong>: O CNPJ tem 14 d\u00edgitos num\u00e9ricos, seguindo este formato:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>8 primeiros d\u00edgitos<\/strong>: n\u00famero raiz da empresa (num\u00e9ricos);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>4 d\u00edgitos seguintes:<\/strong> n\u00famero do estabelecimento (num\u00e9ricos);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2 \u00faltimos d\u00edgitos<\/strong>: d\u00edgitos verificadores (num\u00e9ricos).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Alfanum\u00e9rico, partir de 2026<\/strong>: o CNPJ manter\u00e1 os 14 caracteres, mas permitir\u00e1 combina\u00e7\u00f5es de letras e n\u00fameros nos 12 primeiros d\u00edgitos. Os 2 \u00faltimos d\u00edgitos verificadores continuar\u00e3o num\u00e9ricos, mantendo a consist\u00eancia do sistema atual. Segundo a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/receitafederal\/pt-br\">Receita Federal<\/a>, a nova estrutura ser\u00e1:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>8 primeiros caracteres:<\/strong> n\u00famero raiz da empresa (alfanum\u00e9ricos);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>4 seguintes: <\/strong>n\u00famero do estabelecimento (alfanum\u00e9ricos);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2 \u00faltimos:<\/strong> d\u00edgitos verificadores (num\u00e9ricos).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Exemplo do novo formato:<\/strong> AB12CD34\/EF56-78<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Segundo a Receita, o CNPJ num\u00e9rico se aproxima do limite de combina\u00e7\u00f5es poss\u00edveis, por causa do crescimento do empreendedorismo, j\u00e1 que mais de 4 milh\u00f5es de novas empresas foram abertas, em 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Com a inclus\u00e3o de letras, o n\u00famero de combina\u00e7\u00f5es poss\u00edveis passa de cerca de 100 milh\u00f5es para quase 3 trilh\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>CNPJ J\u00c1 REGISTRADO<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Para quem j\u00e1 tem um CNPJ num\u00e9rico, <strong>nada mudar\u00e1<\/strong>. O formato atual continuar\u00e1 sendo aceito em todos os sistemas e n\u00e3o ser\u00e1 necess\u00e1rio alterar documentos, cadastros ou registros antigos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Chaves Pix e demais sistemas vinculados ao CNPJ continuar\u00e3o funcionando normalmente e ambos os formatos (num\u00e9rico e alfanum\u00e9rico) conviver\u00e3o sem conflitos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>CRONOGRAMA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A Receita Federal planeja o funcionamento do novo cadastro com um processo gradual, sendo que em:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2025<\/strong> haver\u00e1 o desenvolvimento e testes com parceiros (pr\u00e9-produ\u00e7\u00e3o);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2026<\/strong> ser\u00e1 o in\u00edcio oficial da emiss\u00e3o de CNPJs alfanum\u00e9ricos;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>p\u00f3s-2026<\/strong> passar\u00e1 a haver a conviv\u00eancia dos 2 formatos (num\u00e9rico e alfanum\u00e9rico) at\u00e9 nova diretriz.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">O cadastro \u00e9 o principal identificador de empresas no Brasil.
